First of all, what is coaching?

“Coaching is a form of development in which a person called a coach supports a learner or client in achieving a specific personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance.

A coach follows the game you are playing and offering tips & suggestions to help you play better and win. A coach can help you achieve peak performance.

What kind of game are you playing?

  1. Financial – Do you want to learn how to manage your finances more effectively?
  2. Business/Career – Are you looking to start a new business?
  3. Relationship – Do you wish you communicate better with your partner or team?
  4. Health/Wellbeing – Are you taking the best care of your mind, body and spirit?

Once your game is defined, I follow your progress by listening to what’s showing up during our scheduled check ins. I’m listening for the alignment of what you say and what is occurring in your world. Together, we’ll celebrate and acknowledge your wins. We’ll also look at where you get stuck or feel stopped, identify the challenges and adjust the plan accordingly.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

What can you expect?

One day I asked my teacher, Grandmaster Kim, what the characters on the wall of our dojang meant. He responded: “Kindness, Courage, and Intellect.” His teacher, General Choi, had told him that if any one person possessed these three characteristics, they wouldn’t need anything else in life.

I keep this in mind when I am coaching.

Am I being kind? Compassion is important, and I want all my clients to know that they are safe and respected.

However, I have the courage to tell it like it is. Like a good friend, I will tell you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. Oh, and I curse.

With decades of training and experience I have information, tools, and resources that enable me to identify and share where I see opportunities to make a difference in what you are out to achieve.

“Learning is finding out what you already know. Doing is demonstrating that you know it. Teaching is reminding others that they know just as well as you. We are all learners, doers, teachers.”

One of the many things martial arts training has taught me is how to set and achieve goals. Let me help you through the process and help you discover what it is you really want to achieve, create a plan to get it, and take action!

It doesn’t matter much to me what it is you want to create. What I want is for people to be fully expressed and sharing their gifts with the world. What I want, is what makes you happy.

Drop me a line, tell me what you would like coaching around and we’ll see if we’re a good fit.
